Artist and km resident katerina kana, is creating an online real time visual diary of what is happening in the neighborhood during Remap 2. This project will lead to a special publication, designed by the artist and produced by Remap KM.

Just across the screening room i visited for the last time "promise of paradise' a landscape architecture project by the team doxiadis+. The straircase was covered by the plants. It was beautiful.

REMAP GOOD-BYE PARTY AT THE SCREENING ROOM IASSONOS 8
On Sunday, a big crowd of people gathered at the screening room on Iassonos street, to celebrate the closure of ReMap. Projections, live DJ music sets, black vodka Smirnoff got everybody a bit gay. The party started early and finished late in the evening.
Remap with a full calendar of art exhibitions, events, performances, architecture symposeums, social projects, projections and screenings over four months, brought life in this forgotten neighborhood in the heart of Athens; a promising future for a new urban identity.
Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is over. I feel a bit sad, but i know that all things come to an end only to start again new and fresh,..In my adventure as a photo reporter i lived it with intensity.I had the chance to gather an incredible photographic material that will be used for the ReMap book and for my own personal collaging work. Also, i got to see amazing works of art and meet some of the most interesting artists and people of the international and Athenian avant-garde,..good-bye ReMap. I had a great time.
