Screening Program
The reference to this classic piece seems to form the ideal symbolical background for the projections of contemporary video works in the specific context of Remap 2, at the street level of a highly congested area, where a series of different -often contradictory to each other -activities are taking place simultaneously. The program will include an overview from both much older video works as well more recent that share affinities between them as well as the loose thematic context of the title. This way even a less specific audience than that of the local or the international art crowd could easily form an idea on contemporary video practice and share mutual experience with the works presented. The program will be diffused in three different sections which are:
1. Random Rules, Artists selections from YouTube
2. That’s all Greek to Me, video works by artists that live in Greece
3. Intercessions a selection of video works by artists who are involved with the galleries and individual projects participated in Remap 2.
