Σε πέντε δωμάτια μιας παλιάς πολυκατοικίας του ‘70, στην Ιάσωνος 47, πέντε καλλιτέχνες αναπτύσσουν το δικό τους ατομικό πρόζεκτ. Ο έκτος βγαίνει στο δρόμο και επεμβαίνει στην επιδερμίδα της πόλης.

Σ’ ένα χώρο εγκαταλελειμμένο, με ίχνη από τις προηγούμενες χρήσεις του, οι καλλιτέχνες επηρεάζονται και πράττουν ανάλογα.

Για τον Αλέξανδρο Ψυχούλη, το κάπνισμα, καθιστά ορατό το ζωτικό ενέργημα της αναπνοής. Ήταν θέμα χρόνου να ποινικοποιηθεί η δημόσια έκθεση μιας τόσο προσωπικής λειτουργίας. Τα έργα μέσα σ’ αυτό το δωμάτιο, ίχνη μιας προσωπικής έκθεσης, έχουν λογικά την ίδια πιθανότητα ποινικοποίησης.

Ο Γιώργης Γερόλυμπος καταθέτει τις φωτογραφίες του, «Relics», ισχυρές αποδείξεις για την αλόγιστη χρήση του τοπίου από τον άνθρωπο.

Ο Νίκος Αρβανίτης με τον γενικό τίτλο «ευχαρίστηση» επιχειρεί να αποδομήσει την νοηματική και αισθητική φόρμα των προϊόντων της μαζικής κουλτούρας, να την μεταστρέψει και να αναιρέσει την προκαθορισμένη αντίληψή μας για αυτήν.

Η Αλίκη Παναγιωτοπούλου, συμμετέχει στην Μπιενάλε της Θεσσαλονίκης, προσεγγίζει με τα σχέδια της το δίπολο Έρωτας - Θάνατος.

Η Εm Kei, συμμετέχει στην μπιενάλε της Αθήνας και της Θεσσαλονίκης, αποκαλύπτει τον πίθηκο Γουάλντο μέσα από μία χαραμάδα στη βελούδινη κουρτίνα, ενώ ήταν έτοιμος να τελειώσει το νούμερό του…

Ο Αλέξανδρος Βασμουλάκης ζωγραφίζει ροζ κορίτσια με πολεμοχαρή ένστικτα στους τοίχους της πόλης κάτω από τον τίτλο αγαπημένες.

In five rooms at an old apartment block of the 70’s in 47 Iasonos street, five artists develop their own individual project. The sixth one goes out to the street and intervenes in the skin of the city.

In an abandoned space full of traces from its former use, the artists are influenced and they act accordingly.

For Alexandros Psychoulis, smoking makes visible the vital action of breathing. It was a matter of time for the public demonstration of such a personal action to be penalized. The works in this room, as marks of a personal exposition have logically the same possibility of being penalized.

Giorgis Gerolymos exhibits his photos, “Relics”, as strong proof of the improvident use of the landscape by the human.

Nikos Arvanitis uses the general title “pleasure” in order to decompose the notional and the aesthetic form of the mass culture products, to convert it and to negate our predominant perception about that particular form. Aliki Panagiotopoulou participates in the 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale and approaches with her drawings the dipole Love - Death.

Em Kei participates in the 2nd Athens Biennial and the 2nd Thessaloniki Biennale and reveals Waldo through a crack at the velvet curtain, while he was about to finish his act…
